Understanding Esports Betting Markets
In esports betting, a "market" is the specific outcome you predict and place your bet on. Common markets include match duration, match winner odds, and next map, among others.
Odds are a numerical way of expressing probability, showing how much you can win from your stake. For example, in a match between Team A and Team B, if Team A has high odds, it means they are less likely to win — but the payout is higher if they do. lii789 uses decimal format — odds of 2.5 mean a 1,000 Ks bet returns 2,500 Ks in total (including your original 1,000 Ks stake).
Live betting (in-play betting) lets you place bets while a match is in progress, with odds updating in real time based on how the game unfolds. This is one of the most exciting parts of esports betting.
